As the author of Painless Performance Evaluations: A Practical Approach to Managing Day to Day Employee Performance, Marnie Green, MEG's Principal Consultant, provides a new perspective on the dreaded task of performance evaluations.  Through performance evaluation system design, consulting, and training, MEG can provide you and the supervisors within your organization with a simplified approach to managing employee performance.

Williams Gateway Airport Authority, Maricopa County Justice Courts, and others hired MEG to facilitate the redesign of their performance management systems.  In each case, new form and performance tools were developed to assist supervisors in setting clear performance expectations and documenting performance examples.  Training was provided to supervisors on their role as performance managers.  They were given practical, real-life tools to use to thoroughly manage performance from the setting of expectations and goals to the delivery of a performance evaluation. Employees also attended training to better understand the role they play in the performance management system.

The Cities of Richland, WA, Dublin, OH, Tolleson, AZ, Mesa Public Schools, and many others have used MEG to deliver custom-designed performance evaluation training to all supervisors.  In each case the training was based on the principles outlined in Painless Performance Evaluations and was interactive and engaging.  MEG's performance management training is based on sound management principles while reflecting actual job-related scenarios to reflect the organization's culture.
